I’m always surprised how I hardly ever hear American bands talk about Rammstein. Considering how huge they are.

I like to imagine that the official videoclip is the "Silent Hill-esque" vague recollections / repressed feelings of the kids that grew up in this... asylum? While this version is the more realistic memories of the adult nurse during the same time. I love them both as two sides of the same story / lore.

I recently read on Song Meanings that this song is about childhood trauma, and that the other video shows this very well. This video seems to be a little more abstract and harder to read, especially given that the band members portray orphanage staff.
